How to Break-In Your New Cornhole Bags
Below are some tips and tricks for breaking-in and adjusting the speed play of your cornhole bags.
- Break-in bags by throwing the slick side down for 5-10 games.
- Break-in bags by tumbling in dryer on no heat do this at your own risk we are not responsible for damage to your dryer ( remember they are heavy).
- If the slick side is too fast, it will slow down after it’s a little dirty.
- If the stick side is too sticky, it will slide more after it’s a little dirty.
- If the stick side is too fast, you can wash the bags by hand and air dry.
- Different board surfaces slide differently. The humidity is a big factor in how fast or slow the bags play.
- Please make sure your boards don’t have any sharp edges corners or screws sticking out. This will damage and put holes in the bags.
- Rough playing surfaces such as rough concrete and sharp rocks will also shorten the life of the bags. Place a carpet or blanket under your board to prevent damage from the ground if you are playing on rough surfaces.
- If the bag is starting to feel too loose after playing a lot, hand washing and air drying the bags will tighten them up a bit.
